Give TopLeft an API login in your PSA.
Add a security role and an API member for TopLeft. In ConnectWise and Autotask you can keep it away from boards or queues you don’t want synced.
Send us the credentials.
Enter your API keys into our customer portal. Our servers will automatically pull in your data and send you the instructions for your first login.
Set up your views.
Build your boards by mapping their columns to the workflow statuses you already use in your PSA. Then adjust the conditional formatting so the cards that need attention stand out.

Integration questions

Does TopLeft work with on-premise ConnectWise?

Yes. TopLeft works with ConnectWise cloud and on-premise. An on-premise server needs a ConnectWise version from roughly the last 12 months, and a firewall that filters by source address needs to allow TopLeft.

Do changes made in TopLeft go back to the PSA?

Yes. When you change a record in TopLeft, such as a ticket status or the tech assigned, TopLeft updates it in your PSA straight away. The order of cards on a board is the one thing kept only in TopLeft.

How quickly do changes in the PSA show on the board?

Most show within 30 seconds, and some can take up to 5 minutes. In Autotask, turn on ticket callouts for real-time updates. See how long updates take.

What access does TopLeft need?

An API member in ConnectWise, an API resource in Autotask or an API agent in HaloPSA, with a security role for TopLeft. The setup guides above list each permission.

Is anything not synced with Autotask?

A few things, because the Autotask API doesn’t allow them. Project task checklists don’t sync, and notes are plain text. See the Autotask limitations.
